Ginger Newman Askew is the Membership Coordinator for Historic St. Mary’s City (HSMC), after working as manager of The Shop at Farthing’s Ordinary (the museum shop) for a few years. Before coming to Historic St. Mary’s City she worked for Historic Sotterley (Hollywood, Maryland) as the Events and Museum Store Manager.

Mrs. Newman Askew received a Bachelor of Fine Art from Savannah College of Art and Design, where she studied Interior Design and minored in Historic Preservation. She has received numerous educational achievement awards while in college. Post-college, Ginger has received several other certifications and training over the years.

Mrs. Newman Askew resides in St. Inigoes with her husband, Gregory Askew. They have three sons, Anthony, Christopher, and Alexander.
