This one-hour walking tour is designed to give visitors a glimpse into the darker side of Maryland’s past.
Using documented court cases from seventeenth-century Maryland, this program dramatizes real-life events of the time period, including the story of accused witch Rebecca Fowler. Attendees will be led through the Town Center area to meet members of the colony not often discussed in history books—murderers, thieves, abusers, and liars.
This program is designed for visitors ages 18 and older. I.D. will be checked prior to the beginning of the tour.
Space is limited, so registration is required. Registration opens September 1.
Payment in full is due at time of registration: $20 per person ($15 Friends members)
