Separate fact from fiction to learn the true and fascinating stories behind the myths and legends that have grown up around pirates. This workshop is filled with hands-on activities that explain pirate life, weapons, and punishments.

Campers will learn about archaeology and what it tells us about how and what people ate, and how it affected them.  Through the week, students will have a chance to work alongside the archaeological field school in screening for artifacts; to meet with our top research staff; and to hearth cook on a historical site.

Designed for rising 7th and 8th graders

Registration opens January 2nd.  Space is limited to 12 students.

$140 per child ($130 Friends members).  Payment in full is required at time of registration.  Required forms are attached below:
